Cupcake #1

I went to my local Albertson's to get some cakemixes and icings. They had the mixes on sale for 2/$3 and the icings on sale for $1.69. So I got 2 of several flavors. Joann's had their Candy Melts on sale for $1.79 regular $2.99. So I stocked up there also.

On Tuesdays a group of us gather at a friends house for games. Card games and/or board games. So I decided to make some cupcakes for the group. I made white cupcakes and used Buttercream icing. I then dipped the tops in clear decorator sugar. Turned out really cute. The cake was a bit dry, but overall they were good. They went over well at the group.

Grand Opening!

Hello!

This is my grand opening/starting of my new adventure into cupcake/cake pop making. I am so excited! I don't have much if any access to local gormet cupcakes, so I decided to make my own. I plan on using this blog to document my travels on this adventure. I am Casin intolerant (which means no dairy), so I will be trying dairy free/vegan recipes as well as regular recipes. My friends, coworkers, and family will be my testers. (They just don't know it yet!) So here I go, the first post is off and running!
